Tata Motors has updated its three entry-level models in India, namely, Tiago hatchback, Tiago EV and Tigor compact sedan. All the updated versions come with several new features improving their value-for-money proposition. Let’s check out the changes have been made to the 2025 Tata Tiago, Tiago EV and Tigor.

The Tiago facelift has been packed with a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, as we have seen in the Harrier and Safari. The hatchback also receives a larger free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Its driver’s display has also been updated. The new fabric seat upholstery, electronic stability control, LED headlamps and a shark fin antenna are also part of the fresh update.
Tata has also added a new XZ variant of the 2025 Tata Tiago model lineup, priced at Rs 6.90 lakh. Prices of the XT, XZ NRG and XZ Plus have been increased by Rs 30,000, Rs 20,000 and Rs 30,000, respectively. The XT CNG and XZ NRG CNG variants also witnessed a price hike of Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000, respectively. The XTO, XZO Plus, XT Rhythm CNG, XT NRG CNG and XZ Plus CNG variants have been removed from the model lineup. One must note that the prices of the new Tata Tiago AMT variants are yet to be revealed.

Similar to its ICE version, the 2025 Tata Tiago EV gets a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, updated driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated logo, new fabric seat upholstery, electronic stability control, a shark fin antenna and LED headlamps. What’s additional here are the redesigned front grille, EV badge on the front doors, new 14-inch aerodynamically designed alloy wheels, a HD rear parking camera and new black and grey interior theme.

The new Tata Tiago EV prices start from Rs 8 lakh for the base XE MR variant and go up to Rs 11.14 lakh for the top end XZ Plus Tech Lux LR variant. The XZ Plus variant has been discontinued. The XT LR and the XZ Plus Tech Lux LR prices have been increased by Rs 14,000.

The MY 2025 Tata Tigor features LED headlamps and shark fin antenna, while retaining all the design elements. Inside, the compact sedan gets the free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, updated instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel with illuminated signature logo, a 360 degree camera, HD rear parking camera, new fabric seat upholstery and electronic stability control.
The updated model lineup receives the new XT and top-end XZ Plus Lux variant priced at Rs 6.70 lakh and Rs 8.50 lakh, respectively. The entry-level XE variant has been discontinued. Interestingly, the XM variant (which is now the base variant) witness a price decline of Rs 60,000 and now costs Rs 6 lakh. Thus the staring price of the compact sedan remain the same. The XZ and XZ Plus trims get expensive by Rs 20,000 and Rs 10,000.
