Audi will launch the new Q3, A5 and Q9 in India by 2027. All three models will be assembled in India. Audi is also expanding its dealership network across the country.
Audi India is getting ready for one of its biggest product launches in recent years. Over the next 12 months, the luxury carmaker will bring three new models to India – the next-generation Q3, the all-new A5 sedan and the flagship Q9 SUV.
The company is also focusing on local assembly and expanding its dealership network as it aims to grow its presence in the Indian luxury car market.
The new-generation Audi Q3 will be the first model to arrive and is expected to launch between October and December 2026. Prices are likely to start at around Rs 60 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Q3 gets a fresh design, updated interior and more technology than before. India is expected to get a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 204 hp. It will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Inside, the SUV is expected to offer an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, three-zone automatic climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The Q3 will continue to compete with the BMW X1 and Mercedes-Benz GLA.

The all-new Audi A5 is expected to launch in February 2027 and will replace the current A4 sedan in India. Built on Audi's new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC), the A5 is larger than the A4 and gets a completely new cabin with the latest technology.
It is expected to use the same 204 hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the Q3, along with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Unlike some global versions, the India model is likely to be offered only with front-wheel drive. The new A5 is expected to be priced at around Rs 70 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Q9 will be Audi's biggest and most expensive SUV in India. It is expected to arrive in the second half of 2027. Positioned above the Q7 and Q8, the Q9 will compete with luxury SUVs like the Mercedes-Benz GLS and BMW X7.
Power will come from a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-petrol engine producing 367 hp and 550 Nm. It will be paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and Audi's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The Q9 is expected to be priced between Rs 1.40 crore and Rs 1.50 crore (ex-showroom).
Instead of bringing these cars as fully imported models, Audi will assemble all three in India at the Skoda Auto Volkswagen Group plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. The company says local assembly will continue to be an important part of its India plans, helping it keep prices more competitive.
Audi is also increasing its presence across the country. The brand currently has 29 dealerships and plans to increase the number to 40 by the end of next year. Existing showrooms are also being upgraded with Audi's latest global design. The company is also seeing steady growth in its Audi Approved Plus used car business, which continues to attract new and existing customers.
