The upcoming Nissan C-SUV, set for launch in mid-2026, has been spotted during testing, offering a sneak peek into its interior features and design. Nissan India has been teasing the vehicle as part of its strategy to refresh its portfolio, which currently only includes the Magnite SUV. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from this new model.

The new Nissan C-SUV is set to compete with top models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. Built on the Renault Duster platform, it will be produced at Nissan’s Chennai plant and exported to 65 countries as part of the brand's ‘One Car, One World’ strategy.
The design is bold and modern, with a prominent front grille, C-shaped LED DRLs, and a sculpted bonnet. The rear features a spoiler, rear wiper, and 225/60 R17 tyres, with the top variant getting 18-inch wheels. The side profile includes door handles integrated into the C-Pillar, a roof spoiler, shark fin antenna, and rectangular tail lamps.

The latest spy shots give us a closer look at the interior of the Nissan C-SUV, which appears to be a mid-spec variant. The vehicle is equipped with a 3-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls, a digital display unit, cruise control, and climate control. The driver's seat is height-adjustable, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
While the interior features of this test model may not be fully representative of the final version, Nissan is expected to offer several premium features in the upcoming C-SUV. This could include a large infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, and a 360-degree camera. Higher-spec variants may also offer ventilated seats and other passenger comfort features.
Details about the powertrain of the new Nissan C-SUV are yet to be fully revealed. However, it is expected that the model will come with both naturally aspirated (NA) petrol and turbo petrol engine options. Transmission choices may include both manual and automatic options, catering to a wide range of driving preferences.
In addition to the C-SUV, Nissan has exciting plans for the Indian market. The company is expected to introduce a 7-seater B-MPV in Q1 of 2026, followed by a larger 7-seater model in early 2027. These launches will further expand Nissan’s presence in the highly competitive Indian automotive market.
