Tata Motors has finally launched the new Punch facelift at a starting price of Rs 5.49 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan-India. The company will next launch two electric SUVs, including the Punch EV facelift and the Sierra EV. The new Tata Punch EV facelift is scheduled to be launched in February or March 2026, while the Sierra EV will launch in Q2, calendar year 2026.
The new Tata Punch EV facelift will receive cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. The SUV could also get a bigger battery pack with a longer range. The electric SUV is likely to get a new set of tech features inspired by its newer electric vehicles. It is expected to offer improved charging speeds and improved connectivity features.
Inside the cabin, the new Tata Punch EV is expected to get a bigger touchscreen and Drivers display, Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos, new seats with extended thigh support, fast chargers and others.
The 2026 Tata Punch EV facelift is currently available with a 25kWh battery and a 35kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 315km and 421km, respectively. The electric SUV could get a bigger battery pack from the Nexon EV with a claimed range of around 500km. The current model supports a 7.2kW AC home charger and up to 50kW DC fast charger.
