Jeep India is all set to introduce the updated Meridian 5+2 SUV in the Indian market. The updated model will come with cosmetic design changes and an upgraded interior; however, the engine choices will remain the same. Adding to it, the 2025 Jeep Meridian will receive advanced driver assistance system and more advanced features.
Interested buyers can book the new Jeep Meridian online or at authorized Jeep dealerships. Big news is that Jeep Meridian will be offered with 5-and 7-seat options with later having seats for 2 people in the third row. The 5-seater model will be cheaper than the 7-seater Meridian, which costs Rs 31.23 lakh for base variant and Rs 39.83 lakh for top-end variant.
In terms of styling changes, the 2025 Jeep Meridian facelift will have a slightly revised front fascia. It will get a restyled seven-slat front grille with chrome studded honeycomb mesh. The SUV is likely to get new front and rear bumpers. It will retain most of its design, except for the new alloy wheels. The SUV could get newly styled 18-inch alloy wheels.
The new Jeep Meridian will be equipped with Level 2 ADAS or advanced driver assistance system. It will offer features like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, auto high beam, lane assist and others. The SUV is also likely to receive new list of connected car tech. The new Meridian will offer multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, hill assist and others.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Meridian will have triple-layered dashboard finish in grey instead of beige in outgoing model. Copper finish treatment has replaced the chrome strip available in the current car. It is packed with a 10.25-inch digital instrument console and 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. Other features include 9-speaker Alipne auto system, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, front parking sensors and a 360-degree surround view camera.
The Meridian facelift will continue to be offered with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170bhp and 350Nm of torque. The engine will be coupled to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It will continue to come with 4x2 and 4x4 drivetrains.
