Last year, a camouflaged test mule was spied on the streets of Maranello, but the prototype was wearing the body shell of a Maserati Levante SUV, replete with even fake exhausts at the rear. Whether it will be comparable with the Levante in silhouette remains to be seen.
Ferrari said that the electric prototype has covered several thousand kilometers for its testing. This model is likely to be a crossover rather than a supercar.
The electric vehicle from the brand is one of the six new that are lined up for debut or launch this year. The other five cars are expected to be a mix of pure-combustion and hybrid models. The brand is likely to showcase follow-ups to the Roma and SF90 models this year. Ferrari will also be commencing deliveries of the F80 Halo hypercar in the third quarter. Lastly, Ferrari’s Icona series could see a new limited edition model following the suite of the Daytona SP3, Monza SP1, and Monza SP2.
