Honda 0 Alpha EV shows its new interior setup. It gets a large floating touchscreen and digital layout. India launch is expected in 2027.
Honda’s upcoming 0 Alpha EV has been spotted again in India, and the latest test mule leak gives the clearest look yet at its interior. The electric SUV is expected to be Honda’s first mass-market EV for India, and it already shows a big shift in design and technology.
The SUV was seen testing in near-production form, hinting at a major upgrade in both cabin layout and digital features.
The biggest highlight of the Honda 0 Alpha EV is its large, freestanding touchscreen placed at the centre of the dashboard. The screen looks wider than what Honda currently offers in its India lineup, showing a clear move towards a more tech-focused cabin.
Along with this, a separate digital display is placed behind the steering wheel for the driver. This dual-screen setup gives the cabin a modern and clean look.
The dashboard design is simple and horizontal, with slim air vents and a minimal centre section. Most physical buttons appear to be reduced, with controls likely moved into the touchscreen system.

The test mule also shows a newly designed steering wheel, different from Honda’s current models. The centre console area looks compact and neatly arranged.
While some parts of the cabin are still covered, the overall layout suggests Honda is focusing on simplicity, space and digital controls. Final materials and features may still change before production.
On the outside, the Honda 0 Alpha EV continues to follow a boxy SUV shape. The rear section is tall and upright, giving it a strong road presence.
The vertical tailgate design helps improve cabin space, while the rear glass is wide and almost vertical. The tail lamps feature a vertical outer design with a simple rectangular lighting pattern.
At the front, the SUV gets square LED lighting elements and a closed-off grille design, typical of electric vehicles. The bonnet is short and smooth, while the bumper has a wide lower section.
The side profile shows a tall cabin, large windows, short overhangs and a flat roofline, all aimed at improving space inside.

The Honda 0 Alpha EV is expected to launch in India in 2027. It will be part of Honda’s global 0 Series EV lineup and will serve as the brand’s entry into the midsize electric SUV space.
It will compete with popular EVs like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV and Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
Reports suggest the SUV may come with a 60–70 kWh battery pack and offer a real-world driving range of around 450 km. A single-motor front-wheel-drive setup is expected at launch.
