Honda Sales Report April 2026; New City and ZR-V Launch Date Confirmed

Honda sold 4983 vehicles in April 2026 ZR-V hybrid and new City launching on May 22

Honda Cars India has announced that it recorded total sales of 4983 units in April 2026. The company sold 4,069 units in domestic market and exported 869 units last month. In the same month last year, Honda had registered total sales of 4871 units with domestic sales of 3360 units and export of 1511 units.

Sharing his thoughts on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The new fiscal year has begun on a positive note for us, with good sales momentum for Amaze, City and Elevate. HCIL has recorded a 21% growth in domestic sales for April 2026. We remain confident of sustaining this growth trajectory in the coming months.”

Honda ZR-V and City Facelift Launch Date Confirmed

Honda Cars India has officially announced to launch the City facelift and ZR-V hybrid on May 22, 2026. he new City facelift will come with cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features. The ZR-V hybrid will be introduced as a fully-imported CBU model, and will take on the likes of the VW Tayron, Jeep Meridian and others in the category.

The Honda ZR-V Hybrid is estimated to be priced around Rs 40-45 lakh, and will take on the likes of the Skoda Kodiaq, VW Tayron and others. The ZR-V will get a 2.0L strong hybrid engine with an estimated fuel efficiency of around 22-23kmpl.
