2026 Honda Elevate facelift to get subtle design changes and new features. Honda 0 Alpha EV to rival Maruti eVitara and Hyundai Creta Electric.
Honda Cars India recently introduced the ZR-V strong hybrid SUV as its flagship offering at an introductory price of Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). The Japanese automaker has already announced six new models launches for the current financial year (FY2027), including the ZR-V.
According to reports, Honda is considering bringing several of its global models to India including the Civic, Accord, CR-V and the Prelude hybrid sports car. The Honda Elevate facelift might also be part of the lineup arriving in the second half of 2026, while the Honda 0 Alpha-based electric SUV is slated to launch early next year.

Following the launch of the ZR-V, Honda is expected to introduce the Elevate facelift with subtle design changes and feature enhancements. The updated model is likely to retain the existing 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, producing power worth 119bhp at 6,600rom and 145Nm of torque at 4,300rpm. Transmission duties will continue to be performed by a 6-speed manual and CVT gearbox.
The 2026 Honda Elevate facelift is currently undergoing testing and its latest spy images reveal that the SUV will feature redesigned LED headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers and slightly tweaked LED taillight.
Interior details of the updated Elevate are still under wraps. The facelifted version is expected to receive a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, new upholstery and an updated ADAS suite.
Honda started testing the 0 Alpha-based electric SUV earlier this year. The production-ready version is expected to stay true to its concept, and feature Honda’s new ‘Thin, Light and Wise’ design language. The concept features an illuminated Honda logo integrated into the front grille, a charging port, sharply raked front and vertical rear windscreens, aero-optimised 19-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels, an oversized faux bash plate on the rear bumper and full-width U-shaped taillamps.
The carmaker has confirmed that its upcoming electric SUV will be available with two LFP battery pack options, expected to range between 65kWh – 75kWh. It could get a single electric motor and front-wheel drive system.
When launched, the new Honda electric SUV will take on the Maruti Suzuki eVitara, Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Sierra EV and MG ZS EV.
