Honda to Soon Launch Elevate Facelift and 0 Alpha Electric SUV

Elevate facelift arriving this Diwali Honda 0 Alpha EV will launch by March 2027

In a bid to revive sales, Honda Cars India is planning to launch two new SUVs before the end of this financial year. The company will soon introduce the Elevate facelift and the 0 Alpha concept based electric SUV; both have been spotted testing several times on the Indian roads. 


Honda Elevate Facelift

Launched in September 2023, the Honda Elevate is set to receive its first major upgrade. The SUV will receive cosmetic design and interior changes along with a longer list of features, while retaining the engine lineup. The 2026 Honda Elevate is likely to get a revised front grille, headlamps, new bumpers and revised taillamps. 


The SUV is expected to receive a new interior scheme along with ventilated front seats and a 360-degree surround view camera. It will retain the 10.25-inch touchscreen display, a camera-based ADAS, a semi-digital instrument console and others. It will continue to be powered by a 121hp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with a 6MT or a CVT. 


Honda 0 Alpha EV


Honda Cars India will launch its first electric SUV in India by March 2027. It is expected to be launched around 2027 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. The 0 Alpha electric SUV is currently undergoing road testing across different Indian road conditions. It will be manufactured at Honda’s Tapukara production facility in Rajasthan. 


The production-ready model is expected to remain true to its original concept. Honda has confirmed that the electric SUV will have a wheelbase of around 2700-2800mm. It will directly rival the Tata Sierra EV, VinFast VF 6, Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq and others in the category.
