Renault Niagara Revealed: Duster-Based Lifestyle Pickup Truck Unveiled
Renault Niagara pickup is built on RGMP platform It will first introduce in Latin America
Renault has expanded its global product lineup with the reveal of the Renault Niagara. The lifestyle pickup truck, based on the Duster's platform, is claimed to offer the refined comfort of a C-segment SUV and the rugged, go-anywhere utility of a pickup bed.
It is designed primarily for international markets, and the pickup will initially launch in Latin America. The Niagara represents the first major model under Renault's futuREady strategy. Under the new initiative, Renault aims to launch 14 new vehicles outside Europe by 2030.
Platform & Underpinnings
The Renault Niagara is based on the adaptable Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), which also underpins the latest-generation Renault Duster, Boreal and Dacia Bigster. It measures 4.94 metres in length for the 4x4 variant, 4.91m for 4x2 model, and stands 1.72 metres tall. The lifestyle pickup bridges the gap between daily urban driving and off-road adventure. The SUV will be produced at Renault's Santa Isabel plant in Argentina.

Exterior Design
The Niagara styling is inspired from the latest Renault Duster. The front fascia has an upright, broad black grille that houses illuminated, pixelated-chrome "RENAULT" lettering. It gets a full-LED headlamp setup that includes welcome animations, paired with low-mounted LED fog lamps, and an off-road skid plate is integrated into the lower cladding.
The lifestyle pickup has muscular wheel arches accommodating 17-inch or 18-inch wheels. The flush-type rear door handles are integrated into the C-pillars for a sleek, coupe-like profile. The NIAGARA wordmark is placed on the metal tailgate.
Interiors and Features
The Niagara lifestyle pickup's cabin prioritizes everyday usability and premium comfort. It features the OpenR Link touchscreen system with Google built-in (including native Google Gemini AI features and Google Maps). The pickup gets Renault's Multi-Sense drive modes, customizable ambient lighting and intelligent storage solutions both inside the center console and behind the rear seating row.
