Hyundai is preparing to launch the Alcazar facelift for the Indian market. Expected to launch on September 9, the refreshed 3-row SUV will get an updated design and features. However, no mechanical changes will be made to the vehicle.
Previous sightings have revealed that the facelifted Alcazar will get unique design elements to make it look different from its previous model. The updated SUV could get a new front bumper and grille, while the spilt headlamp design will be similar to the current model. Apart from this, the Alcazar facelift will get newly-designed 8-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, updated side cladding, and vertically stacked LED tail lamps.
Inside, the 2024 Alcazar will offer both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. It will feature a similar dashboard design, seen on the Creta facelift. Some of its tech features will comprise a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an electrically adjustable driver seat, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, a 10.25-inch instrument panel, ventilated front seats, and more.
Hyundai will not make any changes to the powertrain of the updated Alcazar. It will retain its 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel units. Both can produce the power of 157bhp/253Nm and 114bhp/253Nm, respectively. Transmission jobs will be handled by both manual and automatic gearboxes.
