Kia Motors India has officially announced the prices of the facelifted version of the Seltos in India. The compact SUV is offered in three trims namely Tech Line, GT Line, and X Line. The starting price of the New 2023 Kia Seltos is set at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) while its top-spec variant is priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2023 Seltos features a redesigned front fascia with a new grille, new LED DRLs, and LED headlamps. The front bumper offers large vents and a skid plate, making the SUV look more rugged. It also highlights its L-shaped LED tail lamps with an LED light bar in the centre, faux skid plate with dual exhaust tips, and a new rear bumper with a grey insert.
Inside, the updated Seltos provides a new 10.25-inch dual-screen setup for both the touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. Other features include dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, an 8-way adjustable driver’s seat, ambient lighting, and ventilation for the front row.
The South Korean automaker has added Level-2 ADAS Tech for the new Seltos. The GT Line and X Line trims provide functions such as Lane Keep Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, and Smart Cruise Control with Start & Go button. Besides, the SUV comes equipped with 15 standard safety features which include ESC, Hill-Start Assist Control, VSM, and 6 airbags.
The upgraded Kia Seltos is powered by three engine options. First is a 1.5-litre petrol mill that can produce a maximum power output of 113 bhp with 144 Nm of peak torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic gearbox. The second comes in the 1.5-litre diesel unit capable of delivering 158 bhp of power with 253 Nm torque, paired with either a 6-speed iMT or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Note these are the same powertrains that were there before.
As for the third, this happens to be a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine equipped to develop 158 bhp of power and 253 Nm of peak torque. This motor is mated to either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
