Mahindra XUV.e8 has been in the works for a long time. Expected to be launched in early 2025, the pure electric car has been spotted testing on the Indian roads several times. The design of the production-ready model was also patented last year. Now, the interior details of the XUV.e8 have been leaked too.

Based on the patent designs, the production-spec XUV.e8 looks similar to the concept version showcased previously. In terms of exterior design, it is expected to feature a blanked-off grille, vertically stacked projector headlamps, an LED light bar, a new front bumper, copper-coloured inserts all around, and aero-inspired wheels.

Moving on to the inside, the upcoming XUV.e8 is likely to offer a 3-screen setup. One of these screens facing the driver's seat will have a digital instrument cluster while the other one for the touchscreen infotainment will be above the centre console. The details of the third screen are yet to be revealed.

Apart from this, the XUV.e8 is expected to offer a new two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel with a red insert. The wheel will have a black display, probably to flash Born Electric (BE) branding.
Mahindra XUV.e8 will be based on Mahindra's Born Electric INGLO skateboard platform. It is expected to come equipped with a battery pack of up to 80kWh and an all-wheel drive system. The power output of the car could be in the range of 227 bhp to 347 bhp.
