Mercedes-Benz, being one of the most famous luxury car brands in India, would soon release the new model - the E-Class Estate. Car enthusiasts recently took interest after sighting the car taking road tests. This is anticipated to offer the perfect amalgamation of style, versatility, and premium features in a model.
The E-Class Estate is the perfect combination of the elegance of the E-Class sedan and the practicality of a larger, hatchback-style boot. It makes it very appealing to people who need more boot space than the standard sedan offers. In contrast to the All-Terrain version, the model that was spotted in India does not have body claddings.
The design of the E-Class Estate stands out with its sleek features. Up front, it's a quite fashionable grille with miniature three-pointed stars and stylish LED lights. The flush door handles, tapering roofline, and blacked-out B and C pillars make for a dramatically sloping side profile. The buyers can also choose between 19-inch alloys or 20-inch AMG Line alloys. At the rear, the car features star-shaped lighting with LED tail lamps, a roof-mounted spoiler, and chrome-tipped exhausts. These design elements add to the luxury feel of the vehicle.
There will be many premium features inside the E-Class Estate. The car comes with a 14.4-inch multimedia touchscreen and a 12.3-inch customizable driver display. Ambient lighting is set with 64 options, creating a mood in the car. Ventilation, as well as a massage function, is added to the front seats for extra comfort. There is also an air purifier, aromatherapy, and premium upholstery on this list. Additionally, there are extra safety features: MBUX, head-up display, and so much more.
Safety has always been the number one priority of Mercedes-Benz with the E-Class Estate. The car has been available with numerous ADAS offered by the company. Additional features includes 7 airbags, electronic stability program, surround-view system, and blind-spot assist with exit warning. It also offers its futuristic Car-to-X communications, occupant protection through Pre-Safe, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The engine options for the E-Class Estate will differ from one market to another. The E300 model, seen in India recently, will have a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that uses petrol. In countries like the United States, there is an E450 version, which has a higher power unit in the form of a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-6. This version has a 48-volt mild-hybrid system as well.
However, estate cars have not attracted that kind of following in the luxury car category in India. Therefore, if the E-Class Estate does eventually see a release in India, it is anyone's guess. But if it does come, it will be a nice new opportunity for buyers who are looking at luxury space combined with modernity features.
