In a promotional video, MG Motor has hinted that the Cyberster sports car will mark its India debut through its new and premium sales outlet – MG Select. The launch of the halo product aims to offer a more upscale experience for customers. Alongside the Cyberster, MG Select will also feature other high-end models, including an updated version of the MG Gloster set to arrive soon.
The MG Cyberster stands out with its striking design and advanced features. It has signature scissor doors that open upward. Its convertible fabric roof can be opened or closed in just 15 seconds, even while driving at speeds of up to 48 kmph, perfect for enjoying a breezy drive.
The Cyberster is available in two variants: Trophy and GT.
Both models are equipped with a 77kWh battery along with advanced DC charging capabilities that allow for quick charging from 10% to 80% in just 38 minutes.
Inside, the MG Cyberster features a modern, luxurious cabin for comfort and connectivity. The electric vehicle boasts:
The Cyberster offers a wide range of customisation options with five exterior colours and various interior materials, allowing customers to create a look that suits their style. A total of 32 combinations are available, ensuring each vehicle can be personalised.
It is clear that MG is betting big on EVs, the latest addition being the Windsor EV. David Allison, MG's Head of Product and Planning, emphasised that the Cyberster is designed to excite, combining a head-turning design with thrilling performance. With these features and the introduction of MG Select, the company aims to strengthen its EV presence in India.
