MG Majestor offers more tech at competitive pricing. Fortuner’s resale value still holds strong despite new competition. Majestor challenges Toyota Fortuner in both price and features.
With the MG Majestor launch set for today, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding its price and how it will compete with the likes of the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, and Ford Endeavour. As MG’s new flagship SUV, the Majestor is expected to offer an impressive combination of size, features, and performance, potentially changing the premium SUV game. Here's a breakdown of the expected MG Majestor price and how it compares to its rivals in India.

MG Majestor price is likely to start around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom), with top variants reaching Rs 45 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. This pricing will position the Majestor as a direct competitor to the Toyota Fortuner, but with more advanced tech and features, potentially offering better value for money in this segment.
When compared to the Fortuner, which is priced between Rs 33.43 lakh and Rs 51.44 lakh, the Majestor may offer more features at a similar or slightly lower price, making it an attractive alternative to the more expensive Fortuner variants.

In comparison to Skoda Kodiaq, which starts at Rs 39.99 lakh, and the Ford Endeavour, expected to be priced between Rs 45 lakh and Rs 50 lakh, the Majestor comes with several modern features that these rivals may not offer in the same price range. While the Kodiaq offers luxury and a premium cabin, it doesn’t match the Majestor’s larger dimensions or three-row seating.
Similarly, the Endeavour is more rugged but lacks some of the tech features found in the Majestor’s interior.

MG Majestor is expected to stand out with its advanced tech and luxury features, including Level 2 ADAS, dual 12.3-inch screens, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated seats with massage functions. These features make it a great value for those seeking a modern, high-tech SUV at a competitive price.
Despite the MG Majestor’s price and features, the Toyota Fortuner remains the go-to choice for many buyers because of its reliability, strong resale value, and established brand loyalty. Toyota’s wide service network and its reputation for long-term durability make the Fortuner a secure investment, which the Majestor may find hard to challenge immediately.
