MG Majestor launches with a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine and AWD. Early bookings for MG Majestor come with exclusive benefits like extended warranties. The MG Majestor offers a premium, tech-packed interior with a panoramic sunroof and Level 2 ADAS.
The much-awaited MG Majestor SUV has officially made its India debut at an event in Gurugram. With the MG Majestor launch date approaching, the company has also opened pre-bookings for the SUV, starting at Rs 41,000. While the final MG Majestor price will be announced in April 2026, deliveries are expected to begin in May 2026. The SUV will be available in three variants - Sharp, Savvy, and Savvy 4X4, and will offer two seating configurations - 6-seat and 7-seat options.

To encourage early bookings, MG is offering exclusive benefits for the first 3,000 pre-bookings. These customers will receive:
- 5-year unlimited kilometre warranty
- 5 years of roadside assistance (RSA)
- 5 years of labour-free service contract
These offers aim to attract early buyers and give them peace of mind with extended coverage.
Under the hood, the MG Majestor is powered by a 2.0L twin-turbocharged diesel engine, producing 215bhp and 478Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The SUV comes equipped with AWD (all-wheel drive) as standard, along with the ‘M-Hub’ feature, allowing the driver to select from 10 different drive/terrain modes. Additionally, it features ‘M-Crawl’ for enhanced off-roading, three differential locks, and a low-speed transfer case for tough terrains.
The MG Majestor offers a premium, tech-packed cabin compared to the MG Gloster. The interior features a newly-designed dashboard, a 12.3-inch free-floating infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a brand-new centre console. The new Creta also introduces the following luxury features:
- Panoramic sunroof
- Three-zone automatic climate control
- Heated, cooled, and massaging driver’s seat
- Heated passenger seat
- Three-spoke steering wheel
- 360-degree cameras
- Electronic parking brake with auto hold
- Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)
MG Majestor has a more sporty, rugged, and bulkier design than the MG Gloster. The front features a newly-designed grille, split-style headlamps, and revised LED DRL signatures, along with a new bumper. The side profile gets 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, massive body cladding, and roof rails, giving the SUV a strong road presence. At the back, the connected LED taillamp assembly and revised bumper complete the look.
MG Majestor is positioned above the MG Gloster in the lineup, making it the brand’s flagship SUV. It directly competes with premium rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq, Jeep Meridian, and the upcoming Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. MG claims the Majestor is India’s first D+ SUV and the longest, widest, and tallest vehicle in its category.
