Mini has launched the new John Cooper Works (JCW) in India at Rs 55.90 lakh (ex-showroom) at the Auto Expo 2025. The booking of the model starts from today. This model keeps the mechanicals of the 2-door hatchback unchanged but introduces some design elements inside-out.
Let's take a look at everything the new Mini Cooper S John Cooper Works S offers:
For the overall silhouette, it has the same circular LED headlights and the iconic Union Jack tail light design. However, the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned with aggressive cuts and creases to make it sportier.
The major add-on or highlight is the grille, Mini badges, and bumpers are blacked-out, also featuring black alloy wheels and a John Cooper Works badge on the grille.
The Cooper S John Cooper Works is further enhanced from the fourth-gen avatar which was launched in July 2024. It gets a red-and-black theme, along with the JCW sports seats upholstered in black synthetic leather, multi-colored knitted fabric, and red stitching.
The overall cabin layout remains unchanged with features such as a 9.4-inch circular OLED display as the touchscreen, a heads-up display (HUD), and auto AC.
The new Mini John Cooper Works is offered with the same 2.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine. It delivers 234.20 BHP and 380Nm of peak torque which is 27hp and 80Nm higher than the standard hatch.
The powertrain comes paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox with a paddle shifter, which the regular Cooper S lacks.
