VinFast, the Vietnamese EV maker, entered India with the launch of the VF6 electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The design of the compact, front-wheel-drive (FWD) electric SUV is to have a futuristic, sleek look. It provides performance and good range for both city and highway usage.
The VinFast VF6 will look contemporary with features such as full-width LED daytime running lights at the front, but positioned below is the headlamp. The reverse is also impressive with full-width LED tail lamps mirroring that of the DRL design. Some style is even carried over through dual-tone alloy wheels and has a charging flap placed on the driver's fender for an easier access process.
The VF6, measuring at 4,238mm by 1,820mm with a height of 1,594mm, looks very close in size to those popular Hyundai Creta versions; hence it becomes an easy favorite for those wishing to navigate busy urban and suburb conditions. It features 17-inch alloy wheels too.
VinFast 6 comes to its occupants with the dark brown, black theme found within the luxury box, making up this cabin. More on the internal front, VF6 features insert soft-touch softeners on both dashboard and door pads. Moreover, it houses five people because it is relatively accommodative for many.
The VF6 is equipped with technology including the 12.9-inch infotainment touchscreen installed, which has the capability for over-the-air (OTA) updates. It also comes with automatic climate control as well as a heads-up display with heated and ventilated front seats.
The safety features of this car consist of multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera as well as Level 2 ADAS systems, placing all drivers and passengers on higher grounds with security.
The VF6 features a 59.6 kWh battery pack. It can run 399 kilometers in its full WLTP cycle. It has two options of power output: 177 PS, paired with 250 Nm torque, and 204 PS with 310 Nm torque. All come as standard front-wheel drive.
