The American automaker, Jeep has teased the fans all over the world with a new teaser. As the Jeep Compass will be completing ten years in the market, this video gives hints on a new Jeep Compass. It is said to be sharing the platform and engines with the new generation of the Peugeot 3008.
The brand has been quite active on its social networks with the release of teasers for the model. One such is the video named "TechTalks with Ned Curic: Ep.1 - AI", through which the head of the group's engineering and technology department talks about the impact of AI on the automotive industry and at 1:20 minute, it is possible to see sketches of the new Jeep Compass 2025.
In the teaser video, the technical drawings on the engineers' computers. It hints towards the design of the Peugeot 3008 getting adapted by the new Jeep Compass meaning it is likely to share the same Stellantis STLA Medium platform. However, it is not possible to get an idea of all the aesthetic changes of the SUV. Yet, the video showcases evidence of changes in the wheel arches, roof, and side panels.
The SUV could feature vertical side surfaces, inspired by the off-road world, and a characteristically Jeep front end, with the traditional seven-slot grille and square wheel arches.
Apart from that, in the teaser, the inscription J4U appears showing information on BEV Mass which is a significant figure for an electric SUV. It is expected that the SUV will be offered with engine options, including mild hybrid and 100% electric versions.
The new Jeep Compass will initially be produced at the Melfi plant in Italy. As for its debut, the brand has yet to make any announcement we will have to wait for any further information from them.
