Nissan Magnite CNG gets AMT option CNG retrofitment costs Rs 71,999 3 years or 1 lakh kms warranty on Magnite CNG
Nissan India’s popular and only CNG SUV, the Magnite has received a 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) gearbox. The new CNG retrofitment allows buyers a new option and convenience of an AMT gearbox.
The CNG retrofitment kit for the Nissan Magnite is available at Rs 71,999, which is developed in collaboration with Motown Fuel Systems. This system is approved by the Government, and installed exclusively at authorised Nissan retrofitment centres. The Japanese brand has also introduced a re-engineered integrated fuel cap, which houses both petrol and CNG valves under the same fuel lid.
Nissan is offering a three-year/one lakh-kilometre warranty on the Magnite CNG. The retrofitment is available for the 1.0L naturally-aspirated configuration with manual and AMT option. Nissan is offering CNG retrofitment program across 13 states, including Maharashtra, Delhi-NCR, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and others.
Commenting on the announcement, Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, said, “With the expansion of the CNG retrofitment program to the EZ-Shift variant, we are making Magnite ownership more accessible and practical. The integrated fuel lid design, combined with affordability and Nissan’s proven reliability, further enhances customer convenience and confidence.”
