Nissan India is all set to introduce a new Dark Edition of the Magnite sub-4 meter SUV. Likely to be the Magnite Kuro Edition, the new sporty model has been teased on Nissan India’s social media platform. Similar to the previous model, the new Magnite Kuro will have full black exterior and interior package.
The Nissan Magnite Kuro will be based on the top-spec variant. It is expected to be offered with both engine options. For people not in the know, the Kuro edition was first launched in 2023 with cosmetic makeover and sporty black finish.
The new Magnite Kuro edition will come with blacked-out grille, roof rails, alloy wheels, and skid plate. It will have an all-black interior scheme and features will be shared with the top-spec model. The special edition will come with a 360-degree surround view camera, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, LED projector headlamps with DRLs, automatic climate control, a multi-functional steering wheel and others.
The Nissan Magnite Kuro will continue to be offered with the 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated and turbo petrol engines. The naturally-aspirated engine is capable of producing 71bhp and 96Nm of torque, and is pared to either a 5-speed MT or an AMT. The turbo unit is good for 99bhp and 160Nm, and is offered with 6-speed manual and CVT automatic option.
The facelifted Nissan Magnite, launched in later 2024, has received 5 start crash test rating from global NCAP. It scored 5 stars in the adult protection test and 3 stars in the child occupant protection test.
