Skoda India is set to expand the Kylaq lineup with two exciting new variants - Classic+ and Sportline. This move comes after the recent launch of the Skoda Kushaq, which offers five trims - Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. Skoda is now bringing some of that diversity to the Kylaq.

Currently, the Skoda Kylaq is offered in four main variants - Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige, with both manual (MT) and automatic (AT) transmission options. Now, Skoda is adding two new variants to its range, giving customers even more choices.
Skoda India has confirmed that a Sportline variant will be available for the Kylaq, with an official launch expected in the third quarter of this year. Unlike the Kushaq, the Kylaq will not feature a Monte Carlo Special Edition. However, the Sportline variant will include several sporty design elements, such as:
- Blacked-out alloy wheels
- Skoda’s signature grille
- Dual-tone roof with an electric anti-pinch sunroof
- Smoked tail lamps
- Sporty black exterior package
The Sportline will continue to use the same 1.0L 114bhp/178Nm turbo-petrol engine, with both MT and AT options available.
To celebrate its one-year anniversary in India, the Kylaq will also receive a new Classic+ variant. The Classic+ will offer upgraded features, including automatic climate control and an electric sunroof, making it an even more attractive option for buyers.
In addition to the new variants, Skoda is expanding the automatic transmission offerings. The six-speed torque converter automatic transmission, previously available only in the Signature, Signature+, and Prestige variants, will now be available in both the Classic+ and Sportline variants.
The current Skoda Kylaq is packed with features that make it a top choice in its segment. Some of the key features include:
- Powered driver seat
- Ventilated front seats
- 10-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- Automatic climate control
- 60:40 split-folding rear seats
- Push-button start
- Auto-dimming IRVM
- Rain-sensing wipers
- 446-litre boot space
Safety is also a priority, with the Kylaq earning a full five-star GNCAP rating. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, brake assist, rollover protection, TPMS, rear-view camera, and hill hold.
These updates make the Skoda Kylaq an even more competitive option in the sub-4m SUV market, offering a variety of features and trim levels to suit different tastes and preferences.
