Skoda sold 3,099 units of Kylaq SUV in August 2025 Kushaq sales dropped to 789 units Slavia stands at 1008 units Skoda dispatched 4,971 vehicles in August 2025
Czech automaker, Skoda sold a total of 4,971 vehicles in the month of August 2025 as against 2,772 units in the same month last year. The company reported a year-on-year sales growth of 79 percent. The Skoda Kylaq was the brand’s best seller and contributed more than 65% of total sales in August 2025.

Skoda sold a total of 3,099 units of the Kylaq in August 2025. However, the brand’s mid-sized SUV, the Kushaq only contributed to 789 units. It is widely said that the Kylaq has impacted the sales of the Skoda Kushaq.
The Slavia was the brand’s second best-seller with 1,008 units dispatched in August 2025. The Skoda Slavia reported a YoY sales decline of 10 per cent, as Skoda had dispatched 1,122 units of the sedan in August 2024. The Kodiaq sales remain at the lower side with only 75 units dispatched to dealerships in August 2025 as against 145 units in the same month last year.
Post GST reforms, the Kylaq SUV has become more accessible. The sub-4 meter SUV has received a price cut of up to Rs 1.19 lakh. From September 22, 2025, the Skoda Kylaq will be retailed at a price tag of Rs 7.55 lakh that’s 70,000 cheaper. The top-end variant will cost Rs 12.8 lakh, which is massive 1.19 lakh cheaper.
The Skoda Kylaq 1.0L manual range is now available in the price bracket of Rs 7.55 lakh to Rs 11.84 lakh, while the automatic version is priced between Rs 10.95 lakh and Rs 12.8 lakh.
The Skoda Kylaq is a sub-4 meter SUV and has an engine capacity of under 1,200cc. It comes under flat 18 percent GST, which is 11 per cent less. Earlier, the SUV was charged straight 29 percent (28% GST + 1% cess).
