Skoda India Surges, Kia Slips: September 2025 Sales

Skoda September sales increased by 101 percent Kia sales decline by 3.5 percent Skoda posted 110 percent growth between July and September, 2025

Skoda and Kia have released their sales numbers for the month of September 2025. While Skoda reported a positive growth, Kia domestic sales decline. Both brands benefitted with GST reforms and festive season.

Skoda Sales September 2025

Skoda Auto India has reported a total sales of 6,636 vehicles in September 2025. The company achieved a substantial Year-on-Year sales growth of 101%. Skoda has also posted a 110% YoY sales growth between July and September, over the same period last year.

The company said that the Skoda Kylaq is in high demand, and steady contributions from the Kushaq, Slavia and Kodiaq helped to achieve significant growth.

Speaking on the positive sales, Brand Director, Skoda Auto India, said, “The festive season, coupled with the simplified GST framework, has created a strong tailwind across the industry. Our September and Q3 results reflect the strong customer response to our product portfolio, particularly the Kylaq, which has become a true growth driver for us. With our growing network and value-driven ownership experience, we remain focused on building deeper connections with customers while accelerating Skoda’s growth journey in India.”

Kia Sales September 2025

In the domestic market, Kia India sold a total of 22,700 vehicles in September 2025 as against 23,523 units in the same month last year. The company has reported a YoY sales decline of 3.5 percent. However, its MoM sales increased by 15.8%. The company had dispatched 19,608 vehicles in August 2025.

Between January and September 2025, the company sold a total of 2,06,582 vehicles in the Indian market as against 1,92,690 vehicles in the same period last year, marking a YoY sales growth of 7.21%.

Speaking on the sales performance, Mr. Atul Sood, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said, “September 2025 marks a significant milestone for Kia India, driven by the positive impact of GST reforms and the festive season demand. The streamlined taxation framework has enhanced affordability and encouraged stronger customer engagement across our product portfolio. This robust growth reflects the enduring trust customers place in our brand, the strength of our innovative and feature-rich lineup, and our commitment to delivering superior mobility solutions.”
