The Jimny 5-door version is called Jimny XL in the Australian market. With the introduction of the new Heritage Edition, it now features special Red and Orange decals on the body with a Heritage logo. In addition, the SUV has a classic Rhino emblem and Red mud flaps to give it a vintage look.
It will be offered in 5 exterior colour options - Granite Gray Metallic, White, Jungle Green, and Chiffon Ivory with Bluish Black Pearl.
The Jimny XL comes equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also offers other features such as automatic climate control, hill-hold control, six airbags, ADAS suite with Autonomous Emergency Braking as standard to comply with local safety norms.
As for the powertrain, the SUV houses the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol unit, the same as the India-spec Jimny. However, this engine is tuned slightly differently; it can produce 99 bhp of power output with 130 Nm of torque. This SUV is available with a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission but for the Heritage edition, Suzuki has offered a 5-speed manual transmission only.
