Tata Motors recently launched the new Altroz Racer at Rs. 9.49 lakh in India. The premium hatchback was only available with the 6-speed manual gearbox. However, it is now going to be offered with a 7-speed automatic transmission. This transmission option is also available with the Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The Altroz Racer stands out from the crowd with a sporty and athletic stance. It has a gold standard design which has a black top with racing stripes. It is available in 3 different colours, Atomic Orange, Avenue White, Pure Grey.
The hatchback has a 26.03 cm touchscreen Harman infotainment, air purifier, 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera, voice-activated electric sunroof and 8 speakers with natural voice tech. It offers iRa-connected car technology, remote command and live vehicle diagnosis.
Tata Altoz Racer is designed to provide a comprehensive and all-around safe driving experience with 6 airbags, an electronic stability program, ISOFIX, rain-sensing wipers, height adjustable seatbelts, an anti-lock braking system, NCAP rating, voice alerts and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The dynamic driving experience with the Tata Altroz Racer’s performance makes it more attractive. It has a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, delivering 118.35 bhp of max power with 170 Nm torque. It delivers unrestrained power with a blend of robust performance and economic efficiency. As for the transmission, it has a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard across all its variants. Later, a 7-speed automatic transmission can also be introduced. This update is expected to be more refined and convenient compared to the manual version.
Tata Altroz is available in three variants: R1, R2, and R3 with a price range of Rs. 9.49 lakh, Rs. 10.49 lakh, and Rs. 10.99 lakh respectively (ex-showroom price).
