Tata Harrier EV gets 5-star BNCAP safety rating, becomes India’s safest electric SUV Now available in both RWD and AWD variants with full price list revealed Loaded with ADAS, 360 degree camera, and up to 7 airbags for ultimate safety
Tata Harrier EV is the latest electric SUV from Tata Motors. It is based on the popular Harrier SUV but comes with a fully electric engine, stylish design, and modern features. Recently, the Harrier EV has received a 5-star safety rating from Bharat NCAP (BNCAP), making it the safest electric SUV made in India. It scored a full 5 stars in both adult occupant protection and child occupant protection tests. This result highlights Tata Motors' strong focus on building safe vehicles for Indian roads.
While several Tata cars have earned 5-star ratings in the past, the Harrier EV is among the highest-rated models from the brand. Its performance in the crash tests, especially in front and side impacts, was impressive. Another EV, the Mahindra XUV 9e, has also earned a 5-star rating, but the Harrier EV now leads the pack in terms of overall safety.
