Tata Motors has finally started accepting pre-bookings for the Sierra lifestyle SUV, while the upcoming Mahindra XUV 7XO is also available for bookings. Interested customers can book the new Tata Sierra online or at authorised dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. Moreover, the SUV has already started reaching dealerships for customers preview and test drives. Deliveries for the new Sierra will commence from January 15, 2025.

Interested customers can book the upcoming XUV 7XO seven-seater SUV online at authorised Mahindra dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 21,000. The SUV will be launched in our market on January 5, 2026. It is essentially a facelift of the current XUV700. The Mahindra XUV 7XO will share design elements and interior features with the recently launched XEV 9S electric SUV.

The biggest upgrade will come in the form of a triple screen dashboard, featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12.3-inch driver’s display and a 12.3-inch co-passenger entertainment screen. It will be offered with two engine options - a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Tata Sierra

The new Sierra is available in 7 trim levels - Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished and Accomplished+ - and in total of 24 variants. The SUV is priced at Rs 11.49 lakh for the base Smart+ variant and extends up to Rs 21.29 lakh for the top-spec Sierra diesel Accomplished+ automatic.

The Tata Sierra also comes with a triple screen dashboard, which is limited to the top-spec Accomplished+ variant. It is offered with 3 engine options, including a 106hp, 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol, a 160hp, 1.5L turbo petrol and a 118PS, 1.5L turbo diesel. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The naturally-aspirated unit also gets a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
