Tata Nexon tops February 2026 sales with 19,430 units. SUVs dominate the list with strong YoY growth. Total top 10 sales grow 8.76% YoY but fall MoM.
The Indian car market continued to see strong demand in February 2026, especially for SUVs and compact sedans. The Top 10 best selling cars together recorded 1,70,127 units during the month, showing steady year-on-year growth. While overall sales were higher compared to last year, there was a slight dip compared to January 2026. SUVs once again dominated the charts, with Tata, Maruti and Hyundai models leading the race.
The Tata Nexon, including its EV version, became the best selling car in February 2026. It recorded sales of 19,430 units. This is a strong 26.59 percent growth over 15,349 units sold in the same month last year.
However, compared to January 2026, Nexon sales were down by 16.84 percent.
