Brezza facelift 2026 may get a 1.0L Boosterjet turbo petrol engine. New Brezza 2026 expected with 10.1-inch screen and ADAS. Underbody CNG tank could improve boot space and practicality.
The Brezza facelift 2026 is expected to bring major updates to one of India’s most popular compact SUVs. The New Brezza 2026 will get design changes, more technology, and possible engine upgrades. Maruti is also preparing for a strong hybrid push in the coming years, and this update will be an important step. Launch for the Brezza facelift is likely around the 2026 festive season. Take a look at its top changes:
One of the key highlights of the Brezza facelift 2026 could be the addition of a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine. This engine is already seen in the Fronx and produces 99 bhp and 147.6 Nm torque. For the Brezza, the power output could be slightly higher to improve performance.
A 6-speed manual gearbox is expected to be added. An automatic option may also continue. The current 1.5-litre petrol engine will likely remain on sale. The CNG version is also expected to continue.

A major practical update could be the relocation of the CNG tank under the floor. Currently, the CNG cylinder takes up boot space. With the new layout, boot space will improve, making the CNG variant more usable for families.
Under the Maruti Brezza new features 2026, the SUV is expected to get a larger 10.1-inch touchscreen, replacing the current 9-inch unit. A fully digital instrument cluster may also be added.
Other expected features include ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, and updated connected car tech. These changes will make the cabin feel more modern.
The New Brezza 2026 is likely to get slimmer LED projector headlamps and a refreshed front design. At the rear, a connected tail-lamp setup could be introduced. New 16-inch alloy wheels are also expected.
These changes will give the SUV a fresh look without changing its overall shape.
For the first time, the Brezza may offer Level 2 ADAS. Features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, and collision warning could be introduced. This will help the Brezza compete better with rivals.
The current Brezza already comes with Smart Hybrid technology in select variants. However, Maruti is working on new hybrid systems for its upcoming models. Among Maruti new hybrid SUVs, a strong hybrid Brezza using the new Series Hybrid system is expected later, possibly around 2028-29.
For now, the 2026 facelift may focus on improving fuel efficiency and performance with engine tweaks.
The Brezza facelift 2026 will focus on better features, updated design, and improved practicality. With new tech, possible turbo engine option, and more safety features, the New Brezza 2026 is expected to stay strong in the compact SUV segment.
