The new Maruti Suzuki Victoris has received a full 5-star safety rating at the Bharat NCAP Crash test. What’s more satisfying is that the Victoris secured 5 star rating in both adult and child occupant protection.
The tested model was equipped with 6 airbags (front and side airbags), seat belt pretensioner, belt load-limited, ESC, Pedestrian protection and seat belt reminder.

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris scored superb 31.66 points out of the maximum 32 in adult protection test. In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, it scored 15.66 out of 16 points. The SUV scored full 16 out of 16 in side movable deformable barrier test.
The Victoris offer good safety to driver’s head and adequate safety to driver’s chest and knee in frontal collision. However, the SUV was found to offer good overall safety to co-occupant in both frontal and side movable deformable barrier test.

The new Victoris mid-sized SUV scored 43 points out of the maximum 49 points in a child occupant protection test.
