VinFast VF MPV 7 launch in April 2026 Based on Limo Green electric MPV Range of up to 450km in a single charge To rival Kia Carens Clavis EV and BYD eMAX 7
Vietnamese automaker, VinFast is all set to launch its third model, the VF MPV 7 in the Indian market. In fact, the company has teased the 3-row electric MPV on its social media platform. This upcoming electric MPV is expected to be launched sometime in April 2026.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 will be a 7-seater electric MPV, which will take on the likes of the Kia Carens Clavis EV and the BYD eMAX 7. We expect the new electric MPV to cost somewhere around Rs 18 lakh to Rs 24 lakh, ex-showroom.

The electric MPV is essentially the Limo Green electric MPV on select markets, including Vietnam and Thailand. The Limo Green is packed with limited features and mainly targets commercial purposes or fleet operators. However, the India-spec model will be introduced in different variants, and targeting both private car buyers and fleet operators.
The spy images reveal that the VF MPV 7 comes with a large freestanding touchscreen infotainment unit, auto-dimming IRVM, three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, and automatic climate control. The speakers are mounted on the door handle, while the centre console has additional storage. It will have dual cup holders, rotary dial, armrests and physical buttons for key functionality.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 second-row has front seat back pockets, air-con vents, charging ports, and a backrest with recline function. It will come with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, electrically adjustable front seats, etc.
The India-spec VF MPV 7 shares design with the Limo Green electric MPV. It has a traditional cab-forward design, featuring low nose, sleek wraparound LED daytime running lights and vertically oriented headlamp setup on the lower bumper. The lower bumper appears aggressive with central air dam.
On the sides, the electric MPV will have an aero-optimised wheels with disc brakes, and lower black cladding. The window-line is finished in a thin chrome strip, while the extended overhangs and flat roofline gives it an SUV-like stance from rear-three-quarter. At the back, the SUV has a black cladding for the bumper, a roof-integrated roof spoiler, and horizontally-stacked LED tail-lights.
Similar to the Limo Green, the VinFast electric MPV is expected to receive a 60.13kWh battery pack with a front-axle-mounted electric motor rated at 201hp and offers 280Nm of torque. The Vietnamese-spec model is claimed to offer NEDC range of 450km on a single charge. This battery is capable of accepting 11kW AC charging and 80kW DC fast-charging. It is also expected to offer multiple drive modes and regenerative braking levels.
