We reported earlier that Kia has started working on the next generation Seltos SUV that has been caught numerous times in India and on foreign soil. For the first time, the interiors of the 2026 Kia Seltos has been partially revealed in latest spy images.
The spy images confirm that the new-gen Kia Seltos will come with all-new interior and looks completely different from the outgoing version. The current model is already loaded with several segment-leading features, and with new-gen model, the feature-list and premium quotient will further improve.
The new-gen Seltos comes with an all-new front seats in dual-tone silver and grey upholstery along with orange inserts. This model look much more premium than the outgoing model. It comes with brushed aluminium interior door handles, second row seats with headrests for all three passengers and an integrated armrest. There is a USB charging port on the side of the front passenger seat.
Dashboard and steering wheel are covered in a thick cloth, revealing limited information. It is expected that the new Seltos will receive a bigger connected screen that houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display and a 5-inch screen for climate control. This is the same setup offered on the existing model. The SUV will come with a 360-degree surround view camera, LEVEL 2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, HUD and others.
In terms of design, the 2026 Kia Seltos will have significantly revised front and rear profile. It appears bigger than the outgoing model, featuring new signature family design. The SUV gets newly designed LED tail-lights, new dual-tone alloys, new bumpers, a large rear skid plate, and a bigger grille with newly designed LED headlamps with LED DRLs.
Kia has not revealed the engine specifications of the new Seltos. It is likely to retain the existing engine options include a 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo diesel and a 1.5L turbocharged petrol. The SUV could get a strong hybrid engine, which is likely to receive a 1.6L petrol engine with a strong hybrid engine. The next-gen Kia Seltos will rival the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, and the upcoming next-gen Duster and Nissan C-SUV.
The next-gen Seltos is reportedly to make global debut in the end of this year or in the first quarter of 2026, most probably in January 2026. The new model is expected to be launched in our market in early 2026.
