Maruti Suzuki is expected to introduce the Fourth-Generation Dzire model in the Indian market. The subcompact sedan is expected to introduce significant exterior design updates and inclusion of new features on the inside. A recent media report now suggests that the 2024 Dzire will feature a single-pane sunroof. It is said that the sunroof is expected to be exclusive to the top-of-the-line ZXI+ variant, adding a touch of premiumness to the vehicle.

The upcoming Dzire promises to outshine its predecessor by incorporating a host of new features. Among the highlights are a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, an enhanced climate control panel, and a sunroof. There is also a probability of other cutting-edge equipment such as a Heads-Up Display, Automatic Windscreen Wipers, Wireless Mobile Charging Pod, and more.
Suzuki has already introduced a hybrid engine in the Next-Generation Swift, but in India, it is expected to feature a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. The power figures are likely to remain the same, 82 bhp but there might be an increase in torque. This new engine is likely to provide excellent mileage, with some reports suggesting an impressive claimed efficiency of over 35 kmpl.
There are also speculations about Maruti offering a CNG option in India for this particular model. Besides, the introduction of a hybrid powertrain could also be on the cards for both the new Dzire and Swift Facelift.
The brand has not revealed the launch date for the new Dzire, however, it is expected to come by mid-2024. As far as the prices are concerned, the car will surely get a price hike over the current model that ranges from Rs 6.51 lakh to Rs 9.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
