Audi has unveiled its latest offerings, the Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron electric SUVs. The 2025 Audi Q6 e-tron marks a significant milestone as it becomes the first Audi model to adopt the cutting-edge Scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture from the Volkswagen Group. This platform, shared with the recently introduced Porsche Macan EV, boasts a rear-biased dual-electric motor setup and an 800-volt system.
In terms of exterior design, the 2025 Q6 e-tron showcases a distinctive front with a sealed-off grille, accompanied by sleek LED headlights and a striking LED light strip towards the rear. Sporting a faux diffuser, a sloping roofline, and sizable air intakes, this electric SUV exudes a dynamic appeal.
In terms of dimensions, the Q6 e-tron measures 4,771 mm in length, 1,993 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height having a wheelbase of 2,899 mm.
Inside, a seamlessly curved panel integrates a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster. Additionally, a 10.9-inch display caters to the co-passenger.
Notable equipment includes a Heads-Up Display, a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system, advanced safety and connectivity features, and a spacious cabin adorned with recycled materials.
Audi introduces two variants of the electric SUV - the standard Q6 e-tron and the performance-oriented SQ6 e-tron. Both models draw power from a 100 kWh battery pack, offering an estimated range of 625 kms on a single full charge.
The standard Q6 e-tron delivers 382 bhp, while the SQ6 e-tron produces 483 bhp of power. This can be further boosted to 456 bhp and 510 bhp, respectively, utilizing the launch control feature.
Acceleration figures for the Audi Q6 e-tron show 0 to 100 kmph time of 5.9 seconds in standard mode and 5 seconds with launch control engaged. The SQ6 variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds.
Furthermore, Audi claims the 2025 Q6 e-tron supports up to 270 kW DC fast-charging, enabling a 10 to 80 percent charge in a mere 21 minutes, with a 10-minute charge providing an additional 255 kms of range.
Audi plans to introduce the 2025 Q6 e-tron in Europe and later in the Indian market, with pricing details set to be disclosed closer to the launch date.
