Honda Cars has finally launched the much-awaited Elevate compact SUV at an introductory price of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). Offered in four variants; SV, V, VX, and ZX, the automaker has priced the top-spec variant at Rs 16 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has also started deliveries for the new model from today.
The new Honda Elevate SUV flaunts its boxy profile from the front. Upfront it features a large grille flanked by integrated LED DRLs, LED headlights, LED tail lights and large wheel arches that house the sporty 17-inch alloy wheels.
Its side profile highlights character lines along with black claddings, increasing its visual appeal. Further, the SUV gets the highest ground clearance (220 mm) in the segment.
Under the hood, Honda cars provides a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine for the Elevate. The same unit powers the Honda City. This petrol mill can produce 119 bhp of maximum power and 145.1 Nm of torque. Transmission duty is followed by either a 6-speed manual or advanced CVT gearbox options. Honda also claims that the Elevate has a mileage of 15.31 kmpl in manual variants while its CVT versions provide 16.92 kmpl of mileage.
