An international Creta variant showcased at the Auto Expo 2025. Creta SUV variant with no such visual difference from models in the line-up. Creta variant that can run on pure E100 ethanol.
Hyundai had a showcase of the Creta 1.0 Turbo Petrol, which is a variant mostly seen in South American markets at the Auto Expo 2025. This car can run also on pure E100 ethanol, as there is a higher preference for ethanol-powered vehicles.
Here is what this Creta variant offers:
The engine of the Hyundai Creta 1.0T has the same engine as the Venue i20. This car produces 121.66 bhp and 172 Nm which is the same as Hyundai Venue 1.0 and i20 models in the Indian market. The car has been further changed to run on E100 ethanol with no containment of any petrol mixture.
For the transmission, it has a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
Hyundai has not announced any plans in regards to launching the 1.0 Turbo Creta in India, still, the SUV has been a part of its highlights on readiness for flex-fuel technology. In the Indian automobile market, the Creta is already available and on sale with multiple engine options which include two petrol variants, a diesel, and the recently launched Creta Electric.
