Creta SE will be based on S(O) and SX(O) trims It will come with 1.5L NA petrol & 1.5L diesel No turbo petrol engine on offer
Hyundai Creta has been one of the best-selling models in the mid-sized SUV category. In order to further boost its sales, the Korean automaker is planning to launch a new special edition of the Creta SUV during the festive season.
Homologation documents of the Hyundai Creta Special Editions have also been leaked online. Called the Creta SE, the new Special Edition variants are likely to arrive soon in our market. The new variants are expected to receive different design elements and more features inside the cabin.

The Special Edition or SE variants will be based on the existing Creta S(O) and SX (O) trims. Moreover, these two models will be powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, naturally-aspirated petrol engine that produces 114bhp and 144Nm. Transmission choices will include a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
The diesel version will receive the same tried & tested 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder CRDi engine that churns out 113bhp and 250Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.
In the name, SE could refer to the Special Edition or Sports Edition. Details about the changes are yet to be revealed. We expect the new Creta SE trims could receive cosmetic changes to its styling and an upgraded interior along with new features. Hyundai could also add new colours or graphics to distinguish the new variants with others. The SUV is also likely to get dashcam.
