Hyundai Exter Exterior Design Fully Revealed

Hyundai Motor India Limited is all set to unveil the new Exter in India on July 10. Ahead of its launch, the automaker has been regularly releasing teasers of the upcoming micro-SUV. With its latest teaser image, the brand has officially revealed the rear design of the all-new Exter.

According to the new teaser image, the 2023 Hyundai Exter’s rear end will feature the company’s signature H-shaped LED tail lights along with a full-width black textured bar. Hyundai’s logo is positioned at the centre of the boot lid along with a faux aluminium skid plate at the bottom.

Like the rear, the front end of the Exter also features ‘H’ themed LED headlights while the wide grille and headlights sit just below. Moving to the side, the four-wheeler gets squared-off wheel arches, a blacked-out roof and flared wheel arches.

Overall the exterior design of the new Exter is bold and unique from anything we have seen in this segment.

Hyundai Exter: Interior Design and Features

Hyundai is yet to reveal the interior of the Exter. However, the brand has confirmed some of the features the micro-SUV will get. Key highlights include a dashcam with dual cameras, rear parking sensors with camera, keyless entry and go, auto climate control, electric sunroof and auto headlights.

Hyundai Exter: Powertrain Details

Powering the Exter will be the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine as the Aura and Grand i10 Nios. This motor is rated for a maximum power output of 82 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. Transmission options will include a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

Hyundai Exter: Pricing and Rivals

Hyundai will be revealing the prices of the Exter at the launch event scheduled for 10 July 2023. Upon launch, the new model will rival the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Ignis, and the Citroen C3.
