Hyundai Exter will get six airbags as standard Will offer 3-point seatbelt and seat belt reminder for rear seat passengers Will come equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol engine
Just days after unveiling the first sketches and the powertrain details, Hyundai Motor India Limited has revealed more details of its upcoming micro-SUV. The Hyundai Exter is confirmed to come equipped with six airbags standard across all its variants.

In its latest communication, Hyundai has confirmed that it will offer 26 safety features on its upcoming Exter for all its trims or as an option on entry trims (E and S). Some of these safety features include Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, and Hill Assist Control.

In addition, that company has taken safety to the next level by including 3-Point Seat Belt & Seatbelt Reminder for all seats on higher variants.
Apart from this, the 2023 Hyundai Exter will be available with Headlamp Escort Function, Rear Defogger, Auto Headlamp, Rear Parking Camera, ISOFIX, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System and Dashcam with dual camera.

The 2023 Hyundai Exter will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a 5-speed manual or an automatic transmission. There will be 5 trim levels on offer: EX, S, SX, SX (O), and SX (O).
Based on the specification and the safety features expect the Hyundai Exter to be priced around Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). It is likely to launch by June this year. Maruti Ignis and Tata Punch will be the main rivals of Exter.
