Will feature a revised exterior design Interior expected to be more user-friendly Powertrain options to remain unchanged
Hyundai cars introduced the third-gen Tucson in India last year. Globally, the SUV has been on sale since 2020 and is slated to receive a facelift soon. While the new SUV was spied on earlier sans camouflage, the company has now officially revealed the car to the world.

The official pictures revealed by the brand, the Tucson facelift look quite similar to the current model. The biggest changes are the slightly redesigned LED headlight and DRL cluster, a new grille and updated bumpers. While details are not fully revealed, we expect the model to come with new alloy wheels while the rear end could feature a revised bootlid and taillights.
Moving inside, the facelifted Tucson’s interior is expected to get a few changes like an updated infotainment system with haptic controls and a new steering wheel. The SUV could also bring back physical climate control buttons for better usability while driving.
Hyundai is expected to make no changes to the Tucson’s powertrain options for India, with both petrol and diesel options on offer. The 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor makes 156 bhp with 192 Nm of peak torque and is paired to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Meanwhile, the 2.0-litre turbo diesel pumps out a higher 186 bhp and 416 Nm of max torque. This unit is provided with an 8-speed automatic transmission option.
The new Hyundai Tucson facelift is slated to go on sale in international markets by the end of this year or early 2024. Expect Hyundai to bring the updated SUV to the Indian market sometime around late 2024.
