Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched the Knight Edition of its highly popular subcompact SUV the Venue. The Venue Knight Edition price in India starts from Rs 9.99 lakh and extends all the way up to Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the second model from the brand, after Creta, to get an all-black theme. However, the Venue Knight Edition is offered with four monotone and one dual colour option such as Abyss Black, Titan Gray, Atlas White, Fiery Red and Fiery Red with Abyss Black.
Although there are no mechanical changes, the subcompact SUV receives some cosmetic upgrades in this special edition. On the outside, it gets a black finished front grille, body-coloured door handles, and brass-coloured inserts found in the front and rear bumper. Additionally, the four-wheeler also features brass coloured insert on roof rails and a dark chrome finished Hyundai logo towards the rear.
Inside, the Venue Knight Edition offers an all-black interior with brass-coloured inserts, 3D designer mats, sporty metal pedals, a dashcam with a dual camera, and exclusive black seat upholstery with Brass coloured highlights.
Hyundai Venue Knight Edition comes powered by only two petrol engine options. There is no diesel powertrain on offer. Out of the two, the first is a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol unit mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The second happens to be a 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol mill paired to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
2023 Hyundai Venue Knight Edition featuring a 1.2-litre petrol engine comes in three variants. These include S(O), SX, and SX dual-tone. Prices for these trims start from Rs 9.99 lakh and go up to Rs 11.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
While its 1.0-litre, turbo-petrol engine is available in four variants; SX(O), SX(O) MT dual tone, SX(O) DCT and SX(O) DCT dual tone. Prices for these trims start from Rs 12.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and can touch up to Rs 13.48 lakh (ex-showroom).
