Here's everything you need to know about the 2026 Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Exter facelift launch details.
Hyundai Verna facelift is getting ready for a major transformation as it prepares for its 2026 debut. Spy shots of the updated 2026 Verna reveal some exciting design changes, particularly at the rear. The most noticeable update is the full-width light bar, which will feature updated internals and sharper tail lamp graphics, giving the Verna a modern and bold look. The lower bumper has also been redesigned to be more squared-off.
Although the front of the new Verna is still under wraps, industry rumours suggest it will sport a more angular grille and sharper light clusters, drawing inspiration from Hyundai's global models. Inside, we can expect a range of tech upgrades, including a larger touchscreen, wireless phone mirroring, and an improved ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) package to make driving even safer and more convenient.
In terms of powertrains, the Hyundai Verna facelift 2026 is likely to retain its existing 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine options. Both engine variants are expected to come with manual and automatic transmission options. The updated Verna will continue to compete with rivals like the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia when it arrives in 2026.
Hyundai Exter facelift is expected to be unveiled in the first half of 2026, bringing with it some exciting new tech features. One of the most significant upgrades will be the introduction of Hyundai’s next-generation infotainment system, which will be the first mass-market model in India to feature the Android Auto Operating System (AAOS). This system will come with a 12.9-inch touchscreen and a 9.9-inch digital instrument cluster, offering an improved user experience and seamless integration with third-party apps.
The 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift will retain its existing engine options, including the 1.2-litre petrol and CNG engines, with outputs of 83hp and 69hp, respectively. Hyundai is expected to add some more safety features and upgrade the interior with new upholstery. While exterior design updates remain speculative, the new Hyundai Exter facelift 2026 is set to compete with models like the Hyundai Venue, especially with its advanced tech features.
