Japan Mobility Show 2025 to be held from Oct 30–Nov 9 in Tokyo Suzuki to display made-in-India Maruti cars Jimny 5-door, e Vitara, Fronx FFV & Victoris to take centre stage
The Japan Mobility Show 2025 is almost here! Scheduled from October 30 to November 9 in Tokyo, the event will see several global carmakers showcase their latest concepts and innovations. But this year, all eyes are on Suzuki, which plans to put the spotlight on made-in-India Maruti Suzuki cars.
From the tough Jimny 5-door to the all-electric e Vitara, and the newly launched Victoris, Suzuki is ready to showcase India’s growing importance in its global lineup.
Let’s take a look at the four India-made cars that will represent Maruti Suzuki at the event.
The iconic off-roader is going international again - this time as the Suzuki Jimny Nomade. Built in India and exported to Japan, the 5-door version of the Jimny will be on display at the show.
Visually, it looks the same as the Indian model but comes with a few extra features, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for added safety. Under the hood, it uses the same 1.5-litre petrol engine with 4WD as standard, offering the same go-anywhere attitude that makes the Jimny special.

The e Vitara is one of the most awaited electric SUVs from Maruti Suzuki. It’s built in Gujarat and will be exported to more than 100 countries.
The EV comes with a new-age design, a high-tech cabin, and two battery options - 49 kWh and 61 kWh. With a range of over 500 km, it’s designed to rival top-selling global EVs. The e Vitara has also scored a 4-star Euro NCAP rating, proving it’s as safe as it is stylish.
Suzuki will also bring a Flex-Fuel version of the popular Maruti Fronx to the show. Called the Fronx FFV Concept, it can run on ethanol-blended petrol, supporting Suzuki’s push for cleaner and greener mobility.
In India, the Fronx is already E20-compliant, meaning it can handle 20% ethanol fuel. The concept version takes this further, showing how Suzuki plans to make its vehicles more eco-friendly in the future.

Maruti Victoris, launched in India in September 2025, will also be showcased at the event with a new twist. Suzuki will display both CNG and CBG (Compressed Biomethane Gas) variants of the sedan.
The company will also showcase a prototype model that can run on both fuels, along with a mini model of its biogas plant built in India. This is part of Suzuki’s effort to promote renewable fuel technologies and reduce carbon emissions.
With models like the Jimny Nomade, e Vitara, Fronx FFV, and Victoris, Suzuki is proving that India is becoming a key hub for global car production.
These cars reflect how far Indian manufacturing has come - from building cars for local buyers to producing models that stand tall on the global stage.
