Mahindra is preparing to launch some exciting new cars in India over the next few years. With a strong reputation for making tough SUVs, Mahindra is now adding electric vehicles (EVs) to its lineup.
From new electric models to updated versions of old favorites, here are the top 5 Mahindra cars we can look forward to between 2025 and 2027.
Expected Launch: End of 2025 / Early 2026
The XUV 3XO EV will be Mahindra's new electric SUV. It will look similar to the regular XUV3XO but will run on electricity instead of petrol or diesel. With battery options that give it a range of up to 400 km on a single charge, it will compete with cars like the Tata Nexon EV. This compact SUV is expected to be affordable and ideal for city driving.

Expected Launch: Early 2026
Mahindra’s XEV 7e will be the brand’s first all-electric 7-seater SUV. Based on the popular XUV700, this electric version will have two battery options (59 kWh and 79 kWh), offering a range of over 600 km on a single charge. Inside, it will come with a high-tech triple-screen setup. The XEV 7e will also be available in both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) versions, making it a great choice for families looking for a spacious and eco-friendly SUV.
Expected Launch: Mid-2026
Mahindra XUV700 is already a favorite among SUV lovers, and it's getting a facelift in 2026. The updated version will have a new look and a more modern interior, including a triple-screen setup for better tech. It will still be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre petrol engines, but with new features to make it even better. The facelift will keep the XUV700 fresh and competitive in the market.
Expected Launch: 2026
For those who love off-roading, the Mahindra BE Rall-E is an electric SUV built for adventure. This off-road version of the BE 6 will come with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, perfect for rough terrains. Powered by a 79 kWh battery, the BE Rall-E will offer a good range for long drives in nature. The SUV will have a tough, rugged design with features like round headlights, off-road bumpers, and steel wheels, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts.
Expected Launch: 2026-2027
Mahindra’s Vision Concept SUVs give us a peek into the future. The first model, the Vision S, will likely join the Scorpio lineup, while the Vision T will probably be an electric version of the Thar. The Vision X will replace the XUV300, and the Vision SXT will be another new addition. These models will be built on a new flexible platform that can support electric, hybrid, and petrol engines. They will come with modern features like a high seating position and great ground clearance.
