Kia India launches Carens CNG, offering better fuel economy with a certified Lovato kit. The Kia Carens CNG comes with a 1.5L engine, 113 hp, and 144 Nm torque. Available at Rs 10.99 lakh, the Carens CNG is perfect for family trips.
Kia India has expanded its Carens range with the introduction of a CNG variant. Instead of a factory-installed system, the Carens CNG uses a certified Lovato CNG kit, which is government-approved and will be fitted at authorized dealerships.
The base Premium (O) petrol trim of the Kia Carens CNG is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with an additional Rs 77,900 for the CNG system. Despite the dealer-installed setup, Kia offers the same three-year or 1,00,000 km warranty as on the petrol models.

Kia Carens CNG is powered by the 1.5-litre Smartstream four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 113 hp and 144 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, delivering a balanced combination of performance and fuel economy.
Inside, the Kia Carens CNG continues to offer the same spacious and practical interior. The two-tone black-and-beige cabin with indigo accents gives it a premium feel, while the semi-leatherette seats add to the comfort. The second row features a 60:40 split with adjustable slide, recline, and tumble functions. The third row is easily accessible with the one-touch electric tumble feature and can be folded flat to provide additional storage space.
Kia Carens CNG is packed with tech features, including an 8-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include Bluetooth, voice command functionality, and a 12.5-inch instrument panel with a 4.2-inch color MID. The Carens CNG also comes with five USB Type-C charging ports.
Safety is a key focus, with features such as six airbags, ABS, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, and vehicle stability management. The car also includes TPMS, a burglar alarm, and rear-door sunshades. All three rows are equipped with AC vents for more comfort during long journeys.
