Up to Rs 2,000 reduced on certain variants Misses out on one-touch window roll-down feature No other changes to the SUV
Kia cars India has given the Seltos a surprise price cut in India. The SUV, which recently received a mid-life facelift, is now Rs 2,000 cheaper than before. The company has also removed certain features from the model, due to the price cut.

The latest price cut will affect Kia Seltos variants including the 1.5 petrol MT HTX, 1.5 turbo-petrol iMT HTX+, 1.5 turbo-petrol DCT GTX+(S) and DCT GTX+, and the 1.5-litre diesel iMT HTX+ AT GTX+(S). All the models now cost Rs 2,000 before.
Kia has been able to reduce the prices of the Seltos because it has removed the one-touch window roll-down feature in the aforementioned variants. It will now be available only in the driver’s side window. However, the top-end X-Line trim will continue to get the feature on all windows.
The Seltos is available with petrol and diesel powertrain options. Petrol options include a 1.5-litre N/A motor making 115 bhp with 144 Nm of peak torque or a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol that pumps out 160 bhp with 253 Nm of max torque. The oil burner is a 1.5-litre turbodiesel that makes 115 bhp with 250 Nm of max torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed iMT, a 6-speed automatic, a CVT automatic, or a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.
Prices for the Kia Seltos start from Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the entry-level HTE variant, going up to Rs 20.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the flagship X-Line trim. The Seltos competes against the likes of the Honda Elevate, Hyundai Creta, and the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
