Mahindra’s very popular Scorpio N SUV has become even more desirable with the addition of key features in the top-end Z8 trims. The Z8 lineup includes Z8 Select, Z8 and Z8 L variants. Out of the five additional features, four are confined to the cabin. While prices will be revised because of the new additions, the Scorpio N Z8 Select starts at Rs. 17.09 lakh, ex-showroom, going all the way up to Rs. 25.54 lakh for the Z8 L 4x4 diesel automatic.

The new features added to Z8 series are ventialted seats, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless charger and high gloss centre console. Mahindra has also added the Midnight Black colour. Scorpio N’s current equipment list runs long with steering-mounted controls, an 8-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control and a 12-speaker setup powered by Sony.
Safety is taken care of by six airbags, hill-assist control and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
Mahindra offers the Scorpio N with two powertrains - A 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine belting out 200 bhp and 370 Nm, while the 2.2-litre diesel mill is capable of producing 172 bhp and 400 Nm of pull force. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter unit.
